Meet Dr. Morris
Dr. Jay F. Morris earned his Bachelor of Science, Doctor of Dental Surgery and Master of Dental Science degrees from the University of Missouri, Kansas City. He continued his postdoctoral education there in Pediatric Dentistry and served a two-year residency at Kansas City’s Children’s Mercy Hospital. After a long and fulfilling career, Dr. Morris retired from pediatric dentistry in 1993. He then began focusing in cosmetic dentistry, dentures and mini dental implants. He is a practicing General Dentist in Kansas City-Overland Park.
Dr. Morris is a member of the American Dental Association, Kansas Dental Society, Fifth District Dental Society and Mid-Century Dental Study Club. He is on the Board of Directors of High Tech Institute, an accredited family of schools offering career focused training programs in health care. He is past president of the Pittsburg, KS, Dental Society.
In addition, Dr. Morris received certification training in the IMTEC Sendax® Mini-Dental Implant System from the University of Oklahoma School of Dentistry. He is a member of the International Academy of Mini Dental Implants. Dr. Morris continues to receive advanced training in mini implant placement across the United States.
Dr. Morris is a native of Colorado, and grew up in Canon City, Colorado – home of the world famous World’s Highest Bridge, “Royal Gorge”.
